And, I'm so glad to be back! I journeyed to San Diego County last Monday with my guy, Ray, for a road trip to see my sister on her farm there. The drive was long and fun. By the time we reached Southern California, the network of freeways and masses of traffic reminded me again how much I love my life here in Bisbee. Nonetheless, we had a great time! Side trips each day to places like Julian and Fallbrook, Pacific Beach (and more). Eating home grown organic basil, heirloom tomatoes and drinking wine. Yummy! I even came home with a car! My sister sold me her '90 BMW for a small price and now I have something smaller and more economical to drive around here (when I drive). Today was a very special day. I was invited by my good friend Gretchen to photograph her demonstration of how to paint an Art Envoy pantsuit. How could I refuse? So, Gretchen & Bingo dressed the part in brightly colored pantsuits and created a beautiful Pantsuit covered Pantsuit right before my very eyes (and camera). Some of the results can be seen here. I love love love this monsoon season! Even if my clothes get drenched on the line...even if it's humid and muggy. Bring it on!!!

As I write this, thunder is rumbling across this high desert canyon and the storms are about to drench us. I love Monsoon season! It seems that the town is slowing down for the summer (not just seems...IS). I'm learning the rhythm of Bisbee now. Summer is the off season. Who knew?

Well, it was a riotous fun weekend in our Tiny Town - Pride festivities included live music throughout the weekend, dancing, laughing and much play. I'm sorry to see the visitors leave. But, I've still got pictures! The animated and sexy Cobban Barnett Les Boys....
